MwGh case 1902
Springfield, Missouri
The owner of this 2 story home in Springfield, Missouri recently moved into this residence and she, her children and guests have all reported experiencing aggressive paranormal activity in nearly every room of the home, even the garage. Claims include visitors to the home seeing full bodied apparitions, voices, knocking/bangs, items being moved, snapping of fingers sounds, bruises on the body associated with feelings of being touched, hearing several footsteps walking or running through the home and feeling ill when inside the home an extended period of time. This investigation occurred on 11.23.19 with 3 investigators present: Dustin, Chris and Ty.
Debunking
We attempted to debunk the clients claims right away like normal but we also began capturing audio evidence right away so we shifted our focus from debunking to attempting to find answers for this homeowner and her children. As far as the evidence we collected (which is below), we were unable to debunk any of the audio pieces presented. No windows were open and at this time of night, no one was outside the home other than the investigators at any point. We approach these investigations with a very healthy dose of skepticism but this was a VERY rare case where we started collecting evidence early and had to shift focus from debunking to figuring out what the hell we were experiencing ourselves inside the home. The evidence we collected is below.
Above, Chris, Ty and Dustin survey the house and perform EMF sweeps before starting the investigation
Audio Evidence
Starting out an investigation, you never know what evidence you may or may not collect. And it takes some pretty impressive captures to make it this far on our website. This home turned out to be just a treasure trove of unexplainable audio EVP's and we caught them on multiple recorders. The entire EVP roundup is below. And it's a lot.
HERE is audio #1. At this point, we were still setting up for the investigation with lights on. Chris, Ty and Dustin were discussing Chris taking pics of the area and Ty refers to "getting his good side" because he is self-conscious about his hairline which led Chris (who shaves his head) to say "why don't you just shave your head?", Ty says "because I'm 24..." and Dustin makes a comment about his hair to which Ty jokingly says (keep in mind, we didn't expect any of this to ever be heard) "yeah, well why don't you just kill yourself then?" and at about :17, you'll hear 3 distinct snaps like someone was snapping their fingers. None of the investigators did this, lights were still on and all 3 were standing feet apart. Ty reacts and says "whoa!" because he thought he heard a door close, but this recorder did not pick up a door closing, only the snapping. Ty's reaction is delayed because he didn't hear the snaps, none of us did; he thought he heard a door closing.
HERE is audio #2. it's the same piece you heard above but from a different recorder which was placed at the top of the stairs. In this one you DO hear the door slamming which Ty heard and reacted to which wasn't captured by the other recorder. Chris and Dustin did not hear this sound, only Tyler. And we corroborated this with this second recorder. It's important to remember that only 3 people were in the home and all 3 were standing feet apart, no windows were open and HVAC/ventilation was turned off.
HERE is audio piece #3. This one occurred while all 3 investigators were taking a break outside with recorders still rolling inside. At about :07 you'll hear snapping of fingers again followed by what sound like an unintelligible vocal
HERE is number 4. This is either a cabinet or door closing but again happened while all 3 investigators were investigating the exterior of the home to debunk knocks, etc. You can hear all 3 of the investigators outside talking when this occurs. None of the investigators did isolation sessions with just one inside the home at any point.
HERE is audio piece #5. This is our EMF detector which was placed on the landing at the top of the stairs. It's important to note that this particular EMF detector is VEEEERY sensitive and you almost have to jam it into the back of a microwave oven in order for it to peg. All 3 investigators were outside again and we were stunned to hear that this detector actually not only was triggered while in a static position, but according to the sound, the meter was also pegged by something approaching and either moving away from or moving past the device.
HERE is number 6. Captured around the same time as the above #5 piece but from a different recorder (in living room). You will hear what sounds like an object or objects falling over with no one inside the home. Upon returning nothing was obviously displaced or visually out of order.
HERE is audio #7. You will again hear snapping fingers and a vocal sound we can't describe. Maybe it's a laugh? We checked the time stamps, all 3 investigators were outside at this time, you can hear us talking in the distance.
HERE is the audio piece that became famous on episode 12 of our "One Paranormal Podcast". Again, you get some of the best evidence when it is LEAST expected. In this one, Chris and Ty re-enter the home after reviewing recordings outside and Ty has to go to the restroom. You will hear Ty enter the restroom and Chris jokingly says "I guess I'll be out here by myself" and Ty says "well, you can stand outside the door" (were joking, not expecting an audio capture at this point obviously). At :13 while Ty is using the facilities (sorry, you can hear this occurring, we don't like to edit audio where there's a capture) there is a loud thump/knock which Chris and Ty both hear which seemed to come from the restroom door itself. This startles Chris and Ty and Ty's "business" is obviously interrupted.
HERE is a piece captured from an upstairs recorder while investigators were conducting an EVP downstairs. You'll hear Chris say "if you're upstairs, can we hear a noise up there?" followed by unintelligible but VERY obvious whispering which weve determined was very close to the recorder itself.
HERE is one of the most amazing captures weve ever recorded. All 3 investigators were in the living room and were trying to illicit a response and Ty says "you're going to have to use your big boy voice" and you can hear a voice say "....is anybody there?" which weve determined likely came from the garage area. This was not heard by any of the investigators at the time

Conclusion(s)
The historical analysis of this home shows no significant events such as suicide/major crime incident(s) which would possibly lead to the paranormal activity documented by our investigators. This home was built in 1971, is 1,264 square feet with 4 beds, 2 baths and has no historical significance to this investigation. Given the evidence we collected, we were able to determine that there is at least one male presence in the home who does not respond directly to (male) confrontation, but prefers to interact peripherally, when investigators are not inside the home or from a distance when we were present. We are going to perform a second visit to this home to try to get more definitive answers regarding the activity we personally experienced and our next investigation will involve much more tech coverage including multiple video recorders and we will likely invite female homeowner to be present for part of the investigation to try to trigger the more confrontation energy she has reported.
We do NOT say this very often at all, but while this case remains open with a future investigation coming very soon, we consider this home to be experiencing true paranormal activity. This will be the next investigation we will be scheduling, so stay tuned for (hopefully) more info and more answers to what the hell is going on here.
